How to Keep Notifications on Lock Screen After Unlocking iPhone?

How to keep notifications on lock screen after unlocking iPhone? The notifications remain on the iPhone screen until you dismiss them. Even if you swipe your finger across the screen to unlock your iPhone, the notification still appears at the top of the screen. You can tap these notifications to access the app and read more about it but swiping them away doesn’t delete them from the device. The solution for this problem is quite easy, you just need to enable Keep lock screen clock option in Settings – Notifications.

Slide Show

1) Go to Settings>General>Accessibility. 2) Turn on the Accessibility Shortcut option at the top of the page. 3) Once you do this, a small square will appear in your lower left-hand corner of your home screen. 4) Click it and a menu will pop up with a list of features that you can enable for quick access. 5) Scroll down until you find Display Accommodations. 6) Enable this feature by tapping the switch so that it turns green. 7) This will turn off all notifications when you unlock your phone, but they’ll automatically be turned back on if someone sends you a message or if an app has an alert.

Always Use Lockscreen Notifications

If you want to make sure that your notifications are always visible on your lockscreen, regardless of whether or not you open the app, then you need to use Lockscreen Notifications. This feature is available for all iPhones and iPads running iOS 8.1 or higher. With this feature enabled, the notification will be displayed for a few seconds before it disappears from the lockscreen. This way, even if you don’t unlock your phone and never open the corresponding app, that notification will still be there for an instant. All it takes is a swipe down across the lockscreen and you’ll have access to all of them again!

Disable Today View in Notification Center

  1. In the Notification Center, swipe all the way to the left and tap Today View. 2. Tap Edit. 3. Tap each notification you want in Today View and hit delete on your keyboard (or swipe them off). 4. Hit Done, then tap Back at the top of your screen to go back to Notification Center view. 5. Tap Notifications View at the top of your screen and select All Alerts from the drop-down menu that appears. 6. Toggle Show as a banner across bottom of Lock Screen ON or OFF based on what you want (this will show messages as banners across the bottom of your phone’s lock screen). 7. Hit Done, then tap Back at the top of your screen again to go back to Notification Center view.

Set Alert Style to Banners Only

The banner style alerts is a good choice for those who want to see their notifications without accessing the phone. The banners are so small, you can’t miss them even if your phone is in your pocket. Plus, they disappear after a few seconds. If you’re always looking at your phone’s notification center and don’t want to miss any updates, then this setting is perfect for you. However, it does not offer as much information about notifications as the other settings. For example, with this option enabled it’s difficult to know what app was used or which friend liked your status update.

Disable Lock Screen Widgets and Background Images

First off, head over to Settings > General > Accessibility. Scroll down until you find the Display Accommodations section and tap it. Next, scroll down again until you find the Widgets option and toggle this off. Doing this will remove all widgets from the Lock Screen and make sure that your notifications don’t disappear when you unlock your iPhone.

Turn Off Parallax Effect on Springboard

In iOS 7, Apple introduced a new way of scrolling in the operating system. The new effect is called parallax and it’s designed to give you the impression that you’re scrolling through a 3D space. This can be cool sometimes, but if you want your screen to stay still when you unlock your device, turning off parallax will fix the problem for now.

1) Open Settings app on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 7

2) Go to General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion and turn it ON . Parallax scrolling will no longer move as you tilt the screen. It’ll remain fixed in place until you exit the feature. We recommend keeping this setting enabled unless you really want to experience iOS 7 with a difference. You can always go back and change it later.

Turn Off Raise to Wake Feature

The default setting for notifications is that they disappear from the lock screen when you unlock the device. This can be a huge problem if you want to see your notifications and then go back and do something else. To stop this from happening, just follow these steps:

– Go into Settings.

– Tap Notifications.

– Scroll down until you find Messages. Tap Messages and then turn off ‘Show Previews’. By doing this, you’ll now be able to see all of your messages in the lock screen as long as it’s not sent over by iMessage. You’ll also get a preview of how many unread messages are in there.

Disable Access When Locked for Privacy

To disable access when locked for privacy, open the Settings app, select General and then select Auto-Lock. Under the section titled Automatically Lock, uncheck the box next to Activate Screen Lock. This will prevent your iPhone from automatically locking the screen when it’s not in use. To enable access when locked, tap the option below Never and choose a time frame before tapping Done. You can also make a custom schedule for your iPhone by choosing specific days of the week and hours of the day during which you want to allow access when locked. You’ll need to activate Siri again by swiping up from the bottom of the display, but this is worth doing so that you don’t have to manually unlock your phone every time you want access.

Final Thought

  1. Go to Settings, then Notifications.
  2. Select which app you want to turn off from the list of apps that are shown and tap Turn Off.
  3. When you go back, you will be able to see a list of all apps in your phone and when they were last used. Tap the green toggle button next to the app you want turned off in order for it not appear on your lock screen and it won’t show up as an alert when you receive a notification while it is running in the background
